Ianisms #2

Jeff had just come inside after working in the yard and Ian asked where he had been.  Jeff said "I was at work."  Ian laughed and said "Daddy, work is for mommies, not daddies."

At Awana, I noticed that Ian was singing "America, America, God shed His grace on MEEEEE."

After hearing "he shoots, he scores" on tv, Ian has been running around yelling "kashoots, kascores" as he tosses dirty clothes in the hamper.

And this one is a little tricky to explain as it was a sign language Ianism.  But essentially Ian held up these signs, one on each hand:
(The first is the sign for 7 and the second is the number one or letter d.)  Then he said to Jeff, "what is this daddy?"  Jeff said "I don't know, seventy one?"  Ian replied "No daddy, seven-d."  (Get it, seventy?)

  1. I literally LOL'd at the first one about work being for mommies and not daddies. Goes to show it's all about what you're exposed to!

And I'm very impressed with Ian's sounding it out with sign language. 70, 7d. Awesome.
