Birthday Boy Turns 5

Ian's birthday was busy this year between school and Awana.  But we managed to squeeze in a phone call from Nana & Papa and a birthday dinner at Red Robin.

And then we celebrated with his friends on Saturday in a DANCE PARTY.  Yippee!  Sadly I didn't get many pictures but it was a fun time.  First, the invitations:

We did the freeze dance, the Chicken Dance, the Macarena, the limbo and started a conga line.

We paused for some microphone cupcakes and snacks:

There were props including inflatable guitars, inflatable microphones and shutter glasses.

And punch boxes to get shakers and guitar shaped bubble necklaces.

They were also sent home with a CD of some of Ian's favorite dance songs.
