In a stroke of genius, I hired a very talented friend
Cindy Moisant to photograph Calla's first birthday party. I seem to only get a couple pictures at birthday parties since I'm busy with all the other hosting duties. It was really a huge blessing to not have to worry about taking pictures! And Cindy is so talented, these pictures are works of art that we'll treasure. We decided on a Very Hungry Caterpillar theme for Calla's big day. We had a great time surrounded by family! The cake was not a big hit with the birthday girl who refused to even try a bite. Admittedly, I tried to cram a bit into her mouth thinking that once she sampled the sweet treat, she'd change her mind. She didn't. But other than that, she had lots of fun.
